ADDITIONAL COMMENTS
Description:
A recreation of classic board game "Cluedo" (known as "Clue" in America) in the Doom engine. Dr J. Oremor has been murdered in his non-Euclidean mansion on the outer slopes of Hell, and one of six guests is the killer – five demons, and Doomguy. Choose which of the six you want to play as and figure out the murderer, the weapon used and the location of the crime… before the others beat you to it!
All the usual Clue(do) elements have been swapped for Doom-like equivalents. At present there is no multiplayer support – it's one human player and 1-5 computer opponents, unless you choose "demo mode" and let six computer players play by themselves. Custom menus and options have been set up, along with custom instructions and credits screens (shown with F1).
Not a typical map – there are no monsters to kill, no items to collect or secrets to find. It also doesn't "end" in the normal fashion (just use the menu to start a new game).
Built in two weeks in UDB. Various custom assets created using MS Paint. The ACS code runs to 2210 lines – and this is not the biggest coding project I've attempted!
